THE REPLACEMENT RATE OF THE LABOUR PENSION: THE CONFLICT OF MACROECONOMIC

The paper addresses the issue of sustainable
development of the pension system of Russia as a key issue not only for the
older generations of Russian citizens, but also for all segments of the
country's macroeconomics. The author looks at the replacement rate as the most
important indicator of the level of the development of pension system and assesses
the possibility of its calculation as well the level of compliance of Russian replacement
rate with minimum international standards of social welfare.  Results of the determination of its size based on the characteristics of
the insured persons are presented.

THE RIGHT TO WORK IN SOVIET AND RUSSIAN LEGAL SCIENCE:

The paper presents the historical and legal analysis of the constitutional and labour
law branches of theoretical provisions
contained in the jurisprudence concerning the right to work. Based on the study, the authors conclude that the right to work in the Soviet
legal science was fundamental, independent, branch principle. However, in the current
Constitution of the Russian Federation the right to work as statutory law is
absent.

the aspects of consumer culture. It appears to be an «antivalue» from the standpoint of the consumer society and is placed in the
sphere of marginality. Consumption is cultivated instead of production. Freedom from
having to work, demonstrative idleness, leisure as a form of luxury are
considered to be the true values. The author draws attention to a fundamental difference between the social
attitude to labour in a society of production and consumption society.
According to the author ideological inconsistency of consumerism is that consumption can not
exist without the labor and production.
