SOCIAL CAPITAL
AS THE BASIS FOR COMPETITIVENESS OF A COMPANY

The paper looks at social capital of the company as a new direction for
boosting its competitiveness and identifies the components of social capital.
The author considers social and emotional intelligence of the company, its business
competence, and social networks to be the elements of social capital that build
collective mental energy that provides the 
company with competitive advantages which are almost impossible to
replicate.

The paper examines the impact of violation by the employer of the
requirement of preliminary coordination of the decision on dismissal of the
worker on his own initiative with labor union under condition of absence in the
Code of labour laws of Ukraine provisions that violation of an order of
dismissal of the worker is the basis for his reinstatement in a
job.

OUTPLACEMENT AS THE

The paper analyzes the advantages and prospects for the
development of outplacement as an effective modern direction of corporate
social responsibility of business. The author summarizes theoretical and
practical material and comes to the conclusion that the outplacement is a
flexible compromise that enables to coordinate the goals of employers and
expectations of employees in the field of social and labour relations.
The paper contains the arguments and
evidence in support of this view.

THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE VALUE OF LABOUR IN RUSSIA (ACCORDING TO THE
CONTENT ANALYSIS Of SOCIAL ADVERTISING BEFORE 1917)

 

Key words: work, the value of labour, social advertising,
social poster, popular print.

The author traces the transformation of the value of
labour in Russia by introducing social advertising materials (for the most part - social posters published
in illustrated albums and electronic resources)
into a research discourse
and comes to the conclusion that for centuries the value of labour in Russia was quite high.
Initially, it was positioned
in the agricultural and domestic sectors, and later in
the industrial one. According to the author Soviet authorities started mass
production and distribution of advertising materials, representing the value of
labour as solely the value of a new society. The results of the
author's research are presented in
two papers with the same title.
